Exam is just right at the corner, all of us having a hard time struggling from studying. We are planning to have a group study together but most of them would prefer to study at home. I have done a few preparations for my exam.
The earlier you start, the more time you will have to prepare for the exam. You don't have to wait until exam time approaches; try to set the stage from the beginning of the course by reviewing the material after each class. By starting early and studying on a regular basis, you will have a better opportunity to absorb the information and life will be a lot easier when it's time to put it all together for the exam.
Make sure all of your course material is well organized so you can find and fill any gaps. If you miss any classes, get the notes from your friends right away instead of scrambling at the last minute. Proper organization will help you to get a better picture of the material that has to be covered and improve the flow of the study process.
We have to plan our exam because we will be more alert and be more prepared. To prepare the study plan, map out all of the material that has to be covered and make a schedule showing what, when and how much you will study each day. If you have kept up with the course work, studying will involve revision of the material that you have already covered. If you are behind in the course, you will have to finish the readings and other uncompleted work before starting the revision (if there isn't enough time to go over everything, you must decide what is most important for the exam).
Besides, we now have to arm with a plan and ready to start studying for the exam. Try to study in a location where you can concentrate and won't be interrupted. You can work with others or join a study group if you find it helpful, but be careful to keep it from turning into an inefficient use of your time. Some proven study tools and techniques are listed below - people respond to different learning styles, so use what works for you.
Make a condensed version of your readings and class notes by creating summary notes. Pinpoint the key terms and concepts and make sure that you understand them. You can identify key terms and concepts by paying attention to what has been emphasized in your classes, textbooks and course syllabus. For example, if a particular topic has taken up a lot of time in the classroom, it is more likely to be on the exam and you should have a good understanding of it.
The process of making summary notes can help you to retain more information. By writing the information thoughtfully instead of just seeing it, you can develop a greater perception of the material. To take this further, activate your other senses: you can recite the summary notes aloud, and even record and listen to them.
This is a few tips before you go for exam. Hope that this tips will be helpful to you guys. Good luck!!!

EXAM is coming guys!!!!
EXAM! This is what every student fear of. During my high school, I have to face the most stressful time of my life which is sitting for examination. I believe that every student hated exam but I have no other choice but to sit for the exam. So, my very first examination in my college is just around the corner. I'm worry that I might not be able to score with flying colours but I believe that practise makes perfect. As long as I put in more effort, I believe that I will able to do well.
Books, books, books, the thing that all students will search during exam. I have not prepared for my exam yet cause I am busy with my assignment. STRESS!!! Next week is my mid-term exam and I haven't prepare for it yet. (OMG). I have a lot to study so I have to get started. I have to prepared myself earlier so that I will be able to do well in my exam (I hope so). So, this week I am busy finishing up my assignment. After my assignment I will be starting my studies.
I have been spending my weekend going to Sunway Pyramid for shopping and not doing my reversion. I regret for not doing my revision earlier but I know that there are no use crying over spilled milk. So now I am suffering from finishing my assignment and doing my revision. Usually in school we will plan a group discussion before we having our exam, but the group discussion will definitely not working. This is because we are not having group discussion but we are having our own party time. We will be spending our discussion talking craps and not doing our revision.
So for me group discussion does not work. I prefer to study on my own. I believe that most of the students will suffer from stress. Chill down guys!!! Have a break, Have a Kit Kat!!!
Memorizing something is something that I am not really good at. I didn't managed to score weel for my history paper. So I am trying my very best to improve myself. I hope that the exam questions won’t be tough for us to do. I hope this first exam won’t give up my hope to study in Mass Communication. I have to try my best doing the exam so my parents will be proud of me and won’t be worry about me without their guidance.
We have to try our very best in this exam because Mr. Winston told us that mid-term will be easier than the final exam. No matter how busy we are we still have to STUDY!!
In class all of them seem to be very relaxed and they still enjoy. I don’t see a word ‘STRESS’ in their face. They seem to be happier than the first day they came. Some of them planning to go to Sunway Pyramid and some of them are having activities this weekend.
This is my first blog on exams, I hope you guys enjoy reading it because I am not really good at blogging. My last week is Good Luck in exams and try your very best. I will continue my story in part 2.

Music Lover!!!!
MUSIC!!!!! My love, I love to listen to music, to sing, but not to play. There are few types of music for example R&B, hip hop, jazz and instrumental. I love instrumental and R&B. Rhythm and Blues music, or R&B music, was originally termed "race music" and basically included any form of music intended for black audiences. A combination of jazz, gospel, and blues, the term "R&B" was originally coined in the late 1940’s in the United States to be used as a less offensive marketing term. While R&B music has evolved over the years to spawn contemporary genres of R&B sounds, the original genre focused on boogie rhythms and included such famous acts as Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry. The end of World War II produced a surprising call for race music, and the R&B music genre took off as a result.
Today’s contemporary R&B music has a distinctly different sound than its forebears, focusing on pop beats and culture rather than the blues, gospel and jazz sounds of previous generations (though those elements are still sometimes present). In the late 1940’s and into the fifties, R&B groups consisted of brass instruments and woodwinds, as well as drums, piano and vocals. These elements were common in jazz bands, but R&B musicians produced a heavier sound with a steady beat. As the fifties progressed, the genre became notable for its sexually suggestive lyrics and provocative dancing associated with it.
As the genre progressed throughout the decades, R&B music started becoming known as soul music; it was also no longer exclusively made by black artists. White musicians started composing R&B songs, though the genre was still dominated by black artists like Chubby Checker, Sam Cooke, and bands like The Miracles. R&B lyrics still focused on segregation and racial issues like past musical genres associated with black musicians, but arrangement and musical style was becoming more important than lyrical content. Artists like Muddy Waters descended upon Chicago’s south side, the new center of R&B music.
Electric guitars began to play a part in the instrumentation as a result of Waters’ proficiency, and the genre began to evolve once again. As the genre progressed and caught on in society, it helped dispel the commonly held belief that so-called "black" music was for black people only. The genre transcended race relations and survived through extremely tenuous race relations in the United States, and as a result, R&B music carved its own niche in the U.S. music scene.
I learned piano when I was 6 but I failed to finish up. I manage to finish until grade 3 only. I can still play the piano but not the difficult notes. So after that I started to fall in love in singing. I sing in church as a worship leader and I enjoy it so much. I feel very happy when I sing, so when I am not happy I will definitely sing. =).
Everybody love music especially song. I guess that all of us have our favourite singer right? So do I. I love WANG LEE HOM a lot. I love to listen to him singing and I love his song so much. I am his big fan, and I collected his entire album including the concert want. I miss his concert twice because my mum don’t let me go =( I hope he will be doing another concert in Malaysia so that I can get a change to go. I love Lee Hom when I was 11, where is the first time I know him through my cousin sister. He makes me love music, without music there is no life.
He is very talented; he can play a lot of types of musical instrument such as, piano, guitar, violin, drum and a Chinese instrument called ‘Er Hu’. He is an American born Chinese and he is already 32 years old but he still look very young.
I love music because I like to hear but not to play. I sing Chinese song although I don’t know how to write or read it. I am a MUSIC LOVER...

Sport? Badminton of course.....
SPORT! Not really what I like to do but I played badminton. I started playing badminton when I was 12, and I fall in love badminton when the first time I see Lin Dan from China played. I was so inspired by him and started to be serious in the game. I love watching badminton tournament and I always get very excited over it.
Lin Dan is my favourite badminton player, I actually like him because off he look but after I see how he play I got inspired and I want to play like him one day. So my dad taught me how to play and I practice playing most of the day. So when I was 15 years old I represented my school to a badminton competition. I stop playing badminton when I am in form 5, because I need to prepare for SPM and I don’t have so much time for it. Let me tell you guys how to be a good badminton player.
Badminton is a fast paced, exciting sport that is wide spread and for one to become a good badminton player is not extremely difficult. Like almost all sports, playing badminton requires a certain level of physical fitness. A person also must learn all the basics and advanced skills of badminton to become a good player. After learning and fine tuning the skills, it is time to study how to utilize common tactics. The attributes listed above enable a person to excel at the game of badminton.
A person can’t become a good player if he/she doesn’t know the proper skills. A game cannot be won if the player can’t make an effective return. The more basic skills such as footwork should be learned first, while more advanced techniques such as backhand smashes should be studied after all the basic skills have been mastered. Like many other skills, badminton skills are mastered by a lot of practice. A person can get a better grasp and form on the skills from practicing.
The last thing required to become a good badminton player is understanding tactics. Part of this comes from reading books and watching tapes of high level competition, and the other part comes from experience. Understanding tactics is an important part of the game because it allows a player to make it difficult for opponents to return shots and also allows the player to predict where the opponent will hit to. It is much easier to win if a player have a good idea about where an opponent’s return will land, because he/she can counter the shot with less difficulty.
I like to play badminton, although I am not a fanatic like some people I know. Badminton can be a fun and enjoyable experience. Although most people say they play for fun, they actually play to win. I know since I play a fair bit. Being a good player makes the game more enjoyable since it is usually more fun to win than to lose. Being skilled also gives certain bragging rights, something a lot of people want.
I will play badminton again, so anybody interested can just tell me and we play together. That all for my sport story.

Lakeside Lakeside Lakeside!!!
A few weeks studying in Lakeside campus, I feel much comfortable in the new lakeside campus. Besides, I get to know more people and I meet a lot of my friends from different courses. I feel more enjoyable to study there. I love the classroom there although some of them complain about the design but I found that the classroom is cool.
I believe that everybody will find this place everyday. Guess what? Is the cafeteria where people love to have their stomach fill there. I love the nasi lemak there, is the best nasi lemak that I ever had. Pease go and try up is only RM 1.50. The others food there is nice but some is expensive. It is very fun when all of our friends having lunch together. We enjoyed so much.
The lecture hall was breath-taking for only lecture hall facing to the lake. I wish that one fine day I will be using that room. Unfortunate we did even catch a change to go to the lecture because we got only 41 of us in the class. After a walk around the campus, I smell something not refreshing, so I try to search what actually is that? So I take a few steps closer to the staircase I saw something that is big and I try to open my eyes widely and I saw is a cow. The cow’s faces make the campus smell.
What I love the most about lakeside is the restaurant, because I love the way they decorate it. I want to try it up one day. The most frequently place that I had visited is the library. I normally finish up my assignment there. Besides, we have our group discussion there with our group members.
Studying in Taylor’s Lakeside College is a very enjoyable. So, I would like to ask those who not yet been here please come and visit our campus.

Lakeside Campus here I come!!!!!
The entire student in communication knew that they will move in Lakeside on the 24th of April. Many questions were asked before they shifted in. Some love to move but some don’t. Some student was excited but some student commented on Lakeside campus. Some love the place but some don’t like it. I like the place because it gives me a feeling of a life in a college. The place is huge and has a lot of facilities. Most of them complain about the parking place.
On 24th April, I was excited so I woke up earlier on that day. When clock strike 7 in the morning, the bus came and I hop into the bus. The first morning was terrible, everybody rush into the bus and pushed each other away. I was so frighten and shocked when I come across this situation. I was push away by them so I have no choice, so I have to be bad and start pushing. Some of them did not get a place in the bus and they have to wait for the next bus.
When my first step into the college, I was surprised. I stunned for a minute and I try to look as many things that I can. Is so beautiful, and is like a dream to me. I thought that I was in another world. So without wasting my time, I walked to my classroom. As I was heading to my classroom, I saw few friends of mine. We spent a few minute talking about the college and I continue heading to my classroom. So I was standing in front of the elevator, I look at my watch is already 7.45 in the morning. So I waited about 5 minutes and the elevator has not open yet. So I decided to wait a little more, 5 minutes passes again and I told myself “Fine, I will take the stairs”. So I ended up using the stairs to my classroom.
As I first reached the classroom, I was exhausted and tired but luckily the classroom is cold. After class, all of us rush out to have looked at the new campus. So my first visit is at the food court. You guys should know what I am doing at food court right? Of course “EAT”. So I tasted up mixed rice and it tasted good but the price is very expensive. After that, my friend and I visited the parking was SUCK (terrible). This is my first time I saw a college parking lot that is so pack. I found out that the building in lakeside is very modern because they design it in different way. So I take a walk to the library. My first impression is “WAH” that is the nicest library that I ever seen. There is a lot of books in the library, so you guys don’t have to worry.
I would like to share few picture of my new campus to you guys. This is the picture that I took when I am in the campus. Hope you guys like it.

A weird dream during holiday....
Holiday part 2!!! As usual I will be spending my holiday at home. During the holidays, my family and I celebrated my grandfather birthday. He turns 74 years old this year, but for me he is forever young. We celebrated my grandfather birthday in his house, which the best place because all my relatives will be there. I bought him an ice-cream cake, yum yum. I actually bought it because it is my favorites...hehe...That’s why I choose the cakes. So for the rest of my holiday, I spent most of my time sleeping, I know that was the worst thing to do during holiday but I have no choice because I am too tired.
I was walking to a lovely garden where there are a lot of lovely and colourful flowers. I was so curious where am I actually? I took a look at that beautiful garden and I saw a little cute creature was peaking at me. I saw it and it ran away, I quickly chased the creature. The creature jump into a little dark hole, so I was curious and I take a look into that hole. As I was busy looking, I slipped and fell into that deep, dark hole. As I awake, I was in a room with a lot of small door with various sizes. I was too big to go thru so I take a walk and look around, and I saw a biscuit and a bottle of water, on the bottle written “drink me” and on the biscuit written “eat me”. Without thinking further, I quickly drink the water. I was shocked because I became very small. Everything around me looks so huge. I quickly took the biscuits and eat it and suddenly I became taller again. I saw a key on the table and took it and try all the doors there. ‘Creep’ one of the door open, I was so happy. I walked past thru the door and it was very dark.
Suddenly I heard a loud voice across my ears, I look around but I can’t detect the sound. I was lost in nowhere. I found myself in a very dark place. I shouted out for help but no one heard me. So I take a few steps forwards and I saw some little creatures. I was so curious to know what was that little creatures is, I decided to take a few steps closer and suddenly I sense something was not right. I felt someone tapping on my shoulder, and immediately I turn my head slowly and I saw a very beautiful forest. The little cute creatures that attracted me is a rabbit that can talk. I ask the rabbit where am I and the creature brought me to a tea party where I meet a man with a funny hat. He was friendly and he served me tea and biscuit. I was still confused and wondering what is happening? He told me not to worry because I have saved the queen. I was shocked because I am not a hero neither a superwoman and how can I save a queen? Later the man brought me to the castle. The castle was so beautiful and it is all painted white. I met the queen and she is so pretty and she dressed in white. I was ordered to fight with a dragon. I refuse to do so but the queen told me that I am the only one who can save her.
I got no choice and I agree to fight with the dragon. The next day, I was send to a battle field to fight with a dark and huge dragon. I was scared initially but I try to be brave, without any fear I ran towards the dragon and use my sword and after some intense fight, I managed to kill it. I was so happy that the dragon was killed and I managed to save the queen.
Suddenly there is a loud voice calling my name over and over again, I slowly open my eyes and look up and I saw my mum calling me. It is dinner time. I wake up and look around, there was no beautiful forest, nor there is little cute creature neither a dragon. From that moment I know that I was dreaming.
Actually, before I slept I told my sister about the story of ‘Alice in the wonderland’, that’s why I end up dreaming about it.
